Determination of Fosetyl-Aluminum in Wheat Flour with Extract-Dilute-Shoot Procedure and Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Fosetyl-aluminum is a widely used ionic fungicide. This pesticide not amenable to the common multi-residue sample preparation methods. Herein, this paper describes novel method for simple and sensitive determination of fosetyl-aluminum residue in wheat flour. The involved extraction with water under ultrasonication subsequent dilution six-fold acetonitrile. concentration was determined by hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. limit detection quantification were only 5 10 ng/g, respectively, which meet requirement current European legislation. Matrix-matched linearity (r2 = 0.9999) established range 10–2000 ng/g. Satisfactory recoveries achieved 95.6% 105.2% three levels spiked samples (10, 50, 100 ng/g). Finally, applied analyzing 75 flour produced four provinces China. Two positive concentrations over detection. first focusing on an extract-dilute-shoot strategy very promising routine quality control similar cereal matrices.
